Prophet ChartStream delivers live, streaming equities charts directly though your browser. With features you've always enjoyed with JavaCharts, ChartStream gives you the power of dynamically updating trendlines and indicators. A detailed quote with bid/ask values (in the real-time version) refreshes dynamically to the left of the graph.
You can stretch the chart to fill your screen. Zoom in to any time period, or get some perspective beyond the hard right edge when you click "Expand Chart." If you're a registered user, your Favorite Symbols are listed under "My Charts".

ChartStream requires a recent, Java-enabled browser. On Windows use either Internet Explorer 5+ or Netscape 6+.
If you are using Netscape 4.x or earlier, you should upgrade to version 6. The Java VM that is part of Netscape 4.x is very old, highly customized by Netscape, and generally not very good. You will experience problems running many Java applets, including ChartStream, when using Netscape 4.x.
Macintosh users should use ChartStream with OS X running the latest version of Apple's Safari browser. Unfortunately, due to the complex nature of our applets and the old, unsupported JVM in the Mac OS 9 operating system, we cannot guarantee that ChartStream will run in OS 9.

Please wait patiently as the applet loads. Clicking the launch button before the applet has fully down-loaded may cause an error which will prevent the applet from loading properly. On a 56K modem with a good connection, the applet should finish downloading in less than 30 seconds.
If you experience problems running ChartStream, or other applets on our website, please be sure you are using an up to date version of your browser (see above). It is also possible that your browser may be referencing a previously stored version of the applet which is no longer compatible with our servers. We often update our applets to add or improve their capabilities. We try to prevent changes we make from impacting the way the applet communicates with our servers, but sometimes this is unavoidable. Some users may experience difficulties if their browser has stored a previous version of an applet that can no longer properly communicate with our servers.
If you experience a problem loading or running an applet, please try the following:
- Quit and restart your browser. Often this is all that is necessary to get your browser to download the latest version of an applet.
- If that fails, try clearing your browser's cache.
In Internet Explorer, go to: Tools->Internet Options->General and click 'Delete Files...' Also check the 'Settings' button and make sure you do not have the 'Never' option checked.
In Netscape, go to: Edit->Preferences->Advanced->Cache and hit the 'Clear Memory Cache' and 'Clear Disk Cache' buttons. Also, as with Internet Explorer, make sure the 'Never' option is not checked.
After clearing the cache, quit and restart your browser.
If you continue to experience problems, please contact our support team and tell us what browser version and operating system you are using. If possible, include any messages from your browser's Java Console.
